Meet Our Pastor

Bishop Christopher Lesley Sr. was born on December 30th, 1976, Boston Ma to the late Joseph D Lesley

Sr. and Missionary Viola Lesley and educated in the Boston Public School System.

Since birth, Missionary Viola Lesley was certain to keep Bishop Lesley in the church, with no excuses.

Bishop Lesley’s walk with God began at the Prayer Tower Apostolic Church under the leadership

of the late Elder John Payton. Later, due to the loss of the church building Prayer Tower merged

with Chief Cornerstone Apostolic Church, Pastored by the late Bishop John Commick.

After some time Bishop R.O. Murray commissioned Pastor P.M. Bobbitt with Elder Earl Grant to start the

new Prayer Tower Church. Bishop Lesley served as minister of music and youth minister for

several years until the Lord directed him to Universal Church of God in Christ under the

leadership of the late Elder George Williams. It was under Pastor Williams that Bishop Lesley

began to be prepared for ministry and accepted the calling on his life to preach the gospel.

Pastor Williams was a Pastor like no other who truly had the heart of God.

While attending Roxbury Community College, then Bishop Lesley served as President of the Bible Club

and Campus Ministries.

In 2009 Bishop Lesley was ordained Elder in the Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Dr. Sean

M. Clark. Apostle Lesley has help build several ministries always working for the lord.

In November 2011 the lord touched my heart of Bishop Lesley to open The

Citadel of Love Worship Center. It was not easy but Bishop Lesley stood strong.

In June 2021 he was appointed as International Bible Way Massachusetts Jurisdictional Bishop

And continues to do the work of the Lord.
